How to find out what version of Windows is installed on your computer?

Desktop or Laptop

Go to Windows Icon and Click

Scroll to Setting

Type on the center search bar (About your PC)

Scroll down to see Windows Edition

You must purchase a printer that will work properly with your Desktop or Laptop. You will need the version of Windows before selecting a printer.

When you plug up the printer for the first time, some models display or print out a pin code and other models displayed by lowering the front lid to the printer.

If you have any issues the drivers can be found on the Brother website. Please select support and next you will click on software and drivers, The printer's model is usually located on the front of the printer.

If you decide you don't wont to purchase a new cartridges every time, then carefully read instruction step by step when installing the printer drivers.

Choose Wi-Fi to On

Click on your router

Enter Password

NETWORK SETUP

Network WLAN Setup Wizard or press the WPS button located on the Router  Most routers have a passcode. You will need the passcode when setting up the WIFI. Please make sure you selected the correct characters and symbols or it will not accept it.

Click on Menu or Gear Symbol

Router Press WPS or Plug up to Laptop or Desktop with or without cables.

LOSS OF CONNECTION

If a lighting storm hits or Internet provider losses connection the printer may have lost the IP address. It will not print from WIFI. You will need to go to the Network on the printer and try to reconnect. You can find how to reboot WIFI on your router from your current providers website. It is important to turn off WIFI on all devices then reboot the router and modem. Once the connection has been established then turn on laptop and set up printers and other devices. 

New Printer Installed (Set as Default)

If your new printer isn't printing then you may need to clear out and remove old printer devices.

Click on Windows Icon

Scroll to Settings

Click on Devices

Select and Click on Printers and Scanners

Click on the old devices or printers to (Remove)

or Manage New Printer (Set as Default)

If default is selected then you will always print from the same printer each time.
